Rojing Rajkarnikar

Rojing Rajkarnikar is a Project Manager for SJP Properties’ Construction Team, supporting the growing multifamily residential department and overseeing projects from pre-construction through closeout. He brings construction management and structural engineering experience, including budgets, schedules, subcontractors, suppliers, client coordination and OAC and trade meetings.

Before joining SJP, Rojing was a project manager at Pike Construction, where he managed complex projects including Stirlingside Residences in New Brunswick, New Jersey, an 85,000 sq. ft., five-story apartment building with 53 rental units above ground-level parking. He also helped restore Paterson’s historic Hinchliffe Stadium, including new locker rooms and bathrooms within the existing structure, track and field stabilization, concrete and masonry reconstruction and a synthetic turf field for recreational and professional sports. He also led the rehabilitation of Bergenview Apartments in Jersey City, New Jersey, a 70,000 sq. ft., eight-story building with 112 rental units, including a lower-floor gut rehab, retrofit second elevator, historic façade restoration and major mechanical and electrical upgrades. His experience spans ground-up construction and large-scale renovations, with a record of delivering projects on time and under budget.

Earlier, Rojing worked as a structural engineer for New York City and New Jersey based structural design firms, performing structural analysis and design, construction administration and special inspections for new construction and historic restoration projects. Key projects include a major infrastructure upgrade for the 35-story Carlyle Hotel; the 32-story, 234-key Aloft by Marriott New York Chelsea hotel; the 12-story, 179-unit Acacia Gardens in East Harlem; and the 12-story, 363-unit Residences at 810 Fulton Street in Brooklyn. Rojing holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a minor in Sustainability Studies and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is an NCEES Certified EIT and ACI Certified Concrete Construction Inspector.
