Paul Chung

Paul Chung serves as Head of Acquisitions and brings more than a decade of experience in real estate acquisitions, development and capital markets. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, leading due diligence and underwriting efforts, structuring transactions and overseeing financing strategies across a diverse range of asset classes.

Throughout his career, Paul has executed more than $1.9 billion in real estate transactions, including multifamily, mixed-use, office, industrial, retail and self-storage developments throughout the New York and New Jersey markets. Prior to joining SJP Properties, Paul served as Head of Acquisitions at Quinlan Development Group, where he sourced and underwrote acquisition opportunities, led due diligence and financing efforts and managed investments totaling more than $500 million in equity and debt transactions representing over $1.2 billion in total capitalization. He also originated the firm’s self-storage development platform, established a programmatic joint venture with PGIM and oversaw the full development cycle across six ground-up projects. Prior to Quinlan, Paul was a Partner and Director of Acquisitions & Capital Markets at Solomon Builders, where he oversaw acquisition and capital markets strategies, originated new development opportunities and successfully raised and closed more than $92 million in financing across several projects. Earlier in his career, he held roles with Wildflower LTD (formerly Madison Development) and Resource Real Estate.

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is recognized for his expertise in investment analysis, capital markets, development execution and strategic growth initiatives.
