NEW YORK (April 22, 2024) – SJP Properties announced today that Keenan Hughes has joined as Vice President – Planning and Development. In this role, Hughes will work directly with SJP Properties CEO and Founder Steve Pozycki to spearhead strategic planning initiatives, source, and evaluate new development opportunities, in addition to the development oversight of innovative projects to meet the evolving needs of SJP’s growing client roster.

In his new role, Hughes will collaborate closely with SJP’s executive team to identify new opportunities for growth, streamline development processes, and lead redevelopment plans while ensuring zoning compliance. With a focus on sustainability, innovation, and community engagement, Hughes will play a key role in shaping the future of SJP Properties and delivering value to its clients and stakeholders.

Prior to joining SJP, Hughes was a principal of a planning consulting firm for 13 years and advised both government entities and private clients throughout the tri-state area on planning and zoning matters. He currently serves as Chair of the Counselors of Real Estate Consulting Corps Committee and Vice Chair of the New Jersey chapter. Hughes holds an M.S. in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute and a B.A in History from Kenyon College. He is a licensed Professional Planner in the State of New Jersey and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
