Michael Sorensen

A Project Manager for SJP, Michael Sorensen, has over 38 years of experience specializing in all aspects of residential construction. Over his career, Michael has been directly involved in the construction of over 3,000 apartments in the New York and New Jersey market as well as the construction of numerous supporting retail, food service, office and amenity facilities.

Michael is responsible for overseeing daily site activities on all SJP Properties residential projects. This includes taking the lead role in all consultant inspection processes, design consultant communication and contractor coordination and conflict resolution.

Prior to joining SJP Properties, Michael worked for one of the largest residential developers in Hudson County, New Jersey. While there, he represented the project owner in construction of over 2,000 luxury apartments in Hoboken and Jersey City. He was also involved in some of the most notable hotel and hospitality projects in Hudson County.
