James Young

James Young comes to SJP Properties with over a decade of industry experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. James earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from William Paterson University, where he also excelled as a collegiate athlete. During his summers in college, James gained practical experience working as a day porter across several Class A buildings in New York City. After graduation, he furthered his technical skills by obtaining both his Blue Seal Steam and Refrigeration licenses in New Jersey, leading to his role as an operating engineer in local 68.

In 2017, James transitioned to a career in Property Management, where he played a key role in the daily operations of a 1.2 million square foot property in Times Square. His success in this role led to subsequent positions where he assisted in the management of two 500,000 square foot commercial properties in Midtown Manhattan. These experiences have prepared James to excel in his current role with SJP Properties, where he assists in managing the day-to-day operations at 470 Park Avenue South.
