EBI is a global leader in electro- and biomechanical medicine based in Parsippany, New Jersey. For ten years, the growing company has called upon SJP Properties to help meet its changing real estate needs. To handle the demands brought about by acquisitions and other expansion, EBI acquired the former GPU headquarters at 100 Interpace Parkway in Parsippany in 1997. The company turned to SJP, which had managed all aspects of its original headquarters. SJP obtained approval for an expansion of the new building, which was retrofitted and customized to accommodate a new headquarters facility for EBI. SJP was recently engaged to complete a major 80,000 sf expansion and renovation to allow an adjoining pilot plant for research and development. SJP obtained the required approvals for the laboratory addition, including a pilot plant, electronics, chemical and metalworking laboratories, wash processing (process piping) facilities, fume hoods and exhaust systems over all equipment, special air changers, and humidity controls. The post-expansion 100 Interpace Parkway now comprises more than 165,000 sf.
