Through careful market analysis, SJP was able to meet the German automobile icon’s long-term needs and will be enable them to combine office, marketing, sales, training and engineering operations at its existing North American Headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. SJP identified the 45-acre Ingersoll-Rand headquarters site contiguous with BMW’s headquarters office. Combining the two parcels gives BMW something rare in New Jersey – an 85-acre campus located at an easily accessible four-way interchange. As part of the purchase, SJP completely retrofitted the 130,000 sf Ingersoll-Rand building to accommodate and adapt to the automaker’s specific needs. SJP managed the acquisition and approvals process as development consultant, and served as development manager to ensure that the details of the Woodcliff Lake build-out match the promise of BMW’s vision for an expanded and revitalized campus.
